We mentioned the bus trip in the last newsletter and now have the finalized details. We are ready to take your reservation! These trips have been awesome, so we hope you can join in the fun on this one. If you are not familiar with them, Brown Sheep Co., located in Mitchell, Nebraska (just outside of Scottsbluff) is the creator of some of the best wool products on the market!

Here’s the Scoop…

We will leave Sunday, November 3rd at 8:15am from the ImagiKnit Yarn Shop parking lot. (Your car can stay in the parking lot.) We will ride in the comfort of a luxury bus from Arrrow Stage Lines, knitting, crocheting, snacking and laughing all the way to Scottsbluff. Hopefully we will pick up a few additional passengers along the way – Lincoln, Grand Island/Hastings, Kearney, Lexington. We’ll finalize a lunch stop (maybe Ole’s in Paxton) and arrange a dinner in Scottsbluff. Overnight accommodations will be at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Scottsbluff, and it is a lovely hotel!

Monday, breakfast is served at the hotel and we will load up to travel a short distance to Brown Sheep Co. We will tour the mill and see the start-to-finish process of this family-owned business. (This tour is great!) There will be plenty of time to shop in their store on site. When we’re done at Brown Sheep Co., we will have lunch, load up and head back to Omaha, arriving home late evening. (10pm-ish)

The cost for this fun adventure is $175, which includes transportation and lodging (based on single occupancy.) If you¬†would prefer a single room, the cost is $225. To reserve your place on the “fun” bus, call the shop at (402) 932-9525 or stop in to make your deposit. Checks and cash are the methods of payment for this trip. The deposit of $100 for a double or $150 for a single is due by Saturday, October 5th. The balance of $75 is due no later than Saturday, October 19th. If you are sharing a room, let us know who your roomie will be. Meals (other than Monday breakfast at the hotel) are not included in the price.

In order to make this trip a reality, we need at least 40 people to commit to going, with a maximum of 48. Cancellations after October 12th will incur a $75 fee unless your spot is taken by someone else. If the trip has to be cancelled due to number of participants there will be no fee and your deposit will be returned. All the details should now be covered, but let us know if you have any questions. Call a friend and let’s go have “a yarn good time!!”
