Gloam Cardigan

This will be a great “go-to” sweater when you need just a little something for the chill.  Gloam, designed by Caitlin Hunter/Boyland Knitworks, is a boxy, oversized, open front cardi with a textured pattern of  knits and purls that is charted.  It’s a great, easy way to learn to read charts.  There is also short-row shaping. The pattern is worked in pieces then seamed at the shoulders and sides; sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked. The finish to the sweater is the front band. It’s a great “throw on and go” piece.
