Many of you were disappointed to have missed our fabulous bus trip to Brown Sheep Company last November. Well….the details have been finalized and we are ready to take your reservation for our next trip – Sunday and Monday, April 7th and 8th!!
So here’s the scoop…we will leave Sunday, April 7th at 8:30 am from the ImagiKnit Yarn Shop parking lot. (You car can stay in the parking lot.) We will ride in the comfort of a luxury bus from Arrow Stage Lines, knitting, crocheting, snacking and laughing all the way to Scottsbluff. Hopefully we will pic up a few people along the way – Lincoln, Grand Island/Hastings, Kearney and Lexington. We’ll finalize a lunch stop and arrange a dinner in Scottsbluff. Overnight accommodations will be at Fairfield Inn & Suites, and it is a lovely hotel!
Breakfast will be served at the hotel and then we will load up o travel a short distance to Brown Sheep. We will tour the factory and see the start-to-finish process of this family-owned business. There will be plenty of time to shop in their store. When we’re done at Brown Sheep Co., we’ll load up, grab a bit to eat and head back to Omaha, arriving home late evening (10pm-ish).
To reserve your place on the “fun” bus, call the shop or stop in to make your deposit. Checks or cash are the methods of payment fo this trip. The deposit amount is $100 for a double or $150 for a single, due by Saturday, March 9th. The balance is due no later than Saturday, March 23rd. Let us know who your roomie will be or if you want a room by yourself.
In order to make this happen we need at least 40 people to commit to going, with a maximum of 48. Cancellations after March 16th will incur a $75 fee unless your spot is taken by someone else. If the trip has to be cancelled due to number or participants there will be no fee and your deposit will be returned.
