Saturday, April 25th, is our much-loved LOCAL YARN STORE DAY!! WooHoo!! We have so much fun throwing a party to celebrate YOU, our amazing customers. We wouldn’t be a Local Yarn Store without you! We are so thankful for your support of this shop, for your friendship, laughter, smiles, show-and-tell, suggestions . . . yep, all the things. YOU ARE THE BEST!!
Due to LYS Day, there will be no Fourth Friday on April 24th. Our LYS Day hours will be 9 am – 4 pm. Of course, we’ll have food, fun, drawings, a gift with purchase and special offers. Sheets with the day’s specials will be handed to you at the door. As a sneak peek for planning purposes, here are a few teasers:
- Casapinka will once again offer a free pattern called “Colossal Fluff Up”. A code will be given with the purchase of two fingering skeins of yarn. We will have Road Trip Yarns LYS Day color available, which is the yarn the Casapinka shawl was made out of.
- Blue Sky Fibers will offer a complimentary pattern of your choice with purchase of their yarn.
- We have special LYS Day colors from Baah Yarn, Emma’s Yarn, Polka Dot Sheep, and new to our shop – The Plucky Knitter. Yarns are available in fingering and DK. Polka Dot Sheep also has fiber.
- New yarns are in for spring/summer. Check out summer top patterns, shawl patterns with 1 – 3 colors, sock patterns, etc., so you’ll have an idea of yardage needed, as all yarns receive 15% off!
- Lumos Lights are again restocked and in new colors, as well as adorable bags to store the lights in. There will be a special on these. They make great gifts for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day . . . any day!
